Eugene O Neill RIP

For those of us who were associated with the great under-age teams of the 1960s it is with sadness that we mark the passing of our colleague Eugene O Neill.  Better known affectionately as 'Tack', his innate high intelligence was always reflected on the field of play where his skills at both hurling and football made him an outstanding forward.  We will remember him also for his infectious smile, his good humour and his life-long loyalty to the Harbour.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Ollie Ryan RIP

It was with shock, sadness and disbelief that we learned of the passing of our esteemed and much loved PRO on Monday 21st May.
His love of sport in general and of the GAA in particular was surpassed only by his interest in and respect for all who played, organised and supported the GAA in Glanworth.  He will be missed by us all for his unswerving loyalty to the club, his inimitable weekly column in The Avondhu but above all his generosity of spirit to all who crossed his path - truly an Officer and a Gentleman.

Our sincerest sympathies to the Ryan family in their time of grief.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
